Concord History Walk

This innovative, family-friendly event, which premiered in April 2009, combines a fundraising walk-a-thon with living-history reenactments and costumed storytellers.  Walkers stroll through lovely historic downtown Concord and meet—live and “in person”—a host of Cabarrus County’s luminaries from yesteryear such as Stephen Cabarrus and Warren C. Coleman.  Also on hand are vintage vehicles, living-history demonstrations, and historic site tours.

The next Concord History Walk will be held in downtown Concord on Saturday, April 14, 2012.  Please mark this date on your calendar and plan to join us.
